Adult Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy
& Speech Evaluation

It is never too late to improve your oral function, breathing habits, and clarity of speech. In adulthood, adaptive behaviors like chronic mouth breathing, tongue thrusting, or underlying tongue-ties can contribute to long-standing issues with sleep-disordered breathing, snoring, dental alignment, and jaw tension. Through a comprehensive evaluation and a structured, exercise-based program, we target the root muscle patterns to help you achieve a healthy oral rest posture, optimize nasal breathing, and support your long-term well-being.

Signs & Symptoms of an Orofacial Myofunctional Disorder in an Adult:

  • Do you clench or grind your teeth?

  • Do you mouth breathe, snore or have sleep apnea?

  • Do you have Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) pain or limited range of motion in your jaws?

  • Do you suffer from regular migraines or headaches?

  • Do you have swallowing or speech difficulties?

  • Are you experiencing any orthodontic relapse (i.e. after having your braces off, your teeth have started becoming crooked again)?

If your answer to any of these questions is "Yes", then you have come to the right place!
Book in below for an evaluation today!

After the age of 18, most people's skeletons are fully grown and not much change happens over-time.   Studies are showing now that having your tongue in the wrong place in your mouth can cause you to mouth breathe, experience teeth-grinding or teeth-clenching, have crooked teeth, have tension headaches, have TMJ pain, snore and have sleep apnea.

Correcting the tongue's resting posture (along with other referrals as needed) can help you to achieve better sleep, better breathing and overall better health.
